We started our trip in Cooper Landing, tucked away in the incredible Kenai Peninsula. With only a truck, camping gear & an appetite for adventure, we relied on locals and maps to guide us. Our first stop was Hidden Lake, where we had a kayak and sunset all to ourselves. We then headed south to Homer, where we enjoyed a beach fire & cold whisky into the night. Our next stop was only accessible by sea plane, so we buckled up and flew into the wilderness. We were dropped off at Upper Paradise Lake with a fishing pole and a satellite phone. Miles and Miles from civilization, we seemed to have Alaska all to ourselves. We took the boat out and paddled around our paradise lake. The storm hit the following morning and after trying to get the satellite phone to work, we heard a sea plane zoom down under the rainy clouds to come get us. The weather was relentless as our tiny plane bumped across the stormy sky. Time was for once, of the essence. Back to solid ground, we high fived and headed back up north, stopping along the way for anything that caught our eye. There were a lot of stops.
